Dr. Zheng studied civil engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology in China and obtained his PhD in 2019. His research expertise is on stochastic finite element simulations, and in particular on stochastic Newton methods for high dimensional and nonlinear problems. With that expertise he also fits best to the International Research Training Group IRTG 2657, to which his is associated.
